Holiday Survival Guide for Your Wallet.

At Verve, we are always looking for ways to make sure you have what you need, and what better way than with a few tips to help you Have More Holiday.

Tip 1: Start new, low-cost traditions!

Life is all about balance, so instead of filling your calendar with all sorts of holiday events, each with its own price tag, consider driving through town—holiday music blaring, of course—to see all of the Christmas light displays.

Or, spend an afternoon sledding and follow it up with snuggles, hot cocoa and a good holiday movie. Or put on your favorite holiday outfit (ugly sweaters included!) and go see a local high school musical production. And don’t forget to make time for making holiday cookies and candy. Mmmm…. cookies.

Holiday traditions don’t need to drain your wallet in order to be memorable.

P.S. Did you know Verve has a 2-for-1 offer for the Nutcracker in the Castle, as well as a free kid’s day? Talk about a good deal.

Tip 2: Embrace the potluck.

Whether you’re hosting one or seven holiday gatherings, ask your guests to bring a dish to share. Not only does it help you save a few dollars, but it also gives your guests the opportunity to share their festive treats and makes for a much more diverse holiday feast.

Tip 3: Give yourself a little wiggle room.

We get it, between parties, gifts, travel expenses and more, money can get tight during the holidays.

So why not Have More Holiday with 90-payment free days? Just transfer your auto, boat, ATV or snowmobile loan to Verve, and you won’t have to make a payment until 2020. Now that’s a holiday deal we can all get behind.
