Have an ugly sweater? Dust that bad boy off and don it for the Ugly Sweater 5K in La Crosse on Saturday, December 8.
The fun kicks off with registration at 3 p.m. at Myrick Park Center, and the race begins at 4:15 p.m. in Myrick Park and ends at Riverside Park as participants run through the tunnel of lights. Registration for kids age 10 and under is free with a canned food donation. Registration is $15 for teens 11-17 and $35 for adults.
We’ll be there cheering on (and warming up) participants.
Watch for Verve team members handing out hand warmers at registration and along the route playing music and giving out water and glow sticks.
