As far as traditions go, La Crosse’s Irishfest is a celebration of Celtic heritage you don’t want to miss.

As far as traditions go, La Crosse’s Irishfest is a celebration of Celtic heritage you don’t want to miss. The fun starts at 3 p.m. on Friday, August 10 and fiddles on through 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 12 on the south side of the La Crosse Oktoberfest Grounds (615 2nd Street North).

There’s no shortage of fun for the wee ones.

Join us in the Wee Folks Area to get a temporary tattoo, learn about Irish history, food and music, fuel up with a few snacks and take a ride on the Leprechaun Express train.

Through the commitment of hundreds of volunteers, the La Crosse community hosts one heck of an Irishfest. This commitment to making our communities stronger, better places to live is right in line with our cooperative principle of community. The way we see it, coming together to have fun and grow closer is worth way more than a pot of gold, even if it’s at the end of a rainbow!
