This fall, our team members surprised teachers and community members alike with school supplies, money and ice cream with Random Acts of Verve in La Crosse, Brillion, Oshkosh, Neenah and Two Rivers.

This fall, our team members surprised teachers and community members alike with school supplies, money and ice cream with Random Acts of Verve in La Crosse, Brillion, Oshkosh, Neenah and Two Rivers.

A farmers market favorite.
Team members from our South Avenue branch stopped by one of the La Crosse area farmers markets to surprise people and pay for their farmers market finds. There was no shortage of smiles as we helped support local businesses.

A sweet scoop of free ice cream.
Our Brillion team members stopped by Scoops Ice Cream House in Chilton to surprise guests by paying for their sundaes, ice cream cones and milkshakes. We couldn’t ask for a better tasting way to support a local business and brighten the day of community members.

A mini-golfing hole in one.
Team members from our Green Bay Road branch surprised golfers at On The Fringe Mini Golf & Ice Cream in Neenah by paying for their round of golf and favorite ice cream treat. We scored a hole in one by paying for another 21 rounds of golf for the next unsuspecting customers.

Cash and can koozies to win the day.
Our Main Street team members surprised customers at the BP gas station on Oshkosh’s northside with money and can koozies. We just loved seeing the smiles as we brightened people’s day.

Stocking our schools with supplies.
It’s no secret that our school teachers pour their hearts out to teach our kids, and often spend their own money to stock their classrooms with supplies. We surprised teachers at Brillion Elementary School and L.B. Clarke Middle School in Two Rivers with boxes full of much needed school supplies, and received huge smiles and appreciative messages. We also slipped in a few chocolate bars and Verve coffee mugs to provide a little stress relief for the teachers.

Because Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, Verve loves lifting community members’ spirits through unique (and sometimes surprising) efforts. Performing Random Acts of Verve is just one way our team members help create a strong community built on kindness.
