In the spirit of “people helping people” and “paying it forward,” the Random Acts of Verve crews stop by local businesses to share our love for the community.

In the spirit of “people helping people” and “paying it forward,” the Random Acts of Verve crews stop by local businesses to share our love for the community. We’ve challenged each of our Verve branches to think of new and creative ways to lift spirits in the communities they work in, and the acts of love in the community are growing and blossoming in 2017!

Score! Free groceries for 50 lucky shoppers.
Our Oneida Street branch stopped by Festival Foods in Menasha on Tuesday, March 28, and our Main Street branch stopped by Mark and Susie’s Piggly Wiggly in Oshkosh on Wednesday, April 12 to hand out grocery gift cards. As a bonus, Piggly Wiggly matched the purchase of gift cards, so we were able to brighten the day of so many more shoppers.

Starting the morning out with a sweet treat.
Our Universal Street branch stopped by Quent’s Service Center in Oshkosh on Tuesday, March 28 to buy coffee, beverages and a few snacks for unsuspecting guests.

Kindness returned with more kindness.
We stopped by Dairy Queen in Brillion on Wednesday, April 5 to treat a few guests to lunch, dessert and even an ice cream cake, and received a sweet surprise. One family we bought lunch for returned the favor and gave us dilly bars. We just love seeing Random Acts of Verve inspiring more acts of love throughout the community.

Dinner’s on us!
Our South Avenue branch stopped by Fiesta Mexicana in La Crosse on Friday, March 24 to give diners cash to use toward their meal, as well as a few Verve can koozies, and our Holmen branch surprised diners at Features Bar and Grill with cash to use toward their meal and can koozies. Our Witzel Avenue Branch paid for the ENTIRE dinners of 8 lucky people at Jansen’s Bar and Restaurant in Oshkosh on Wednesday, April 12. The look on the diners’ eyes when they opened their bill to find a Random Acts of Verve card in its place was priceless!

Because Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, Verve loves lifting community members’ spirits through unique (and sometimes surprising) efforts. Performing Random Acts of Verve is just one way our team members help create a strong community built on kindness.
