Verve was proud to take part in the Tools 4 Schools drive this summer, helping give students the school supplies they need to reach their fullest potential in the classroom. In addition to accepting school supply donations at our branches, Verve team members made a huge impact through their own donations. We put on a “Casual for a Cause” week, where team members could pay $5 to dress casually for a day or $20 for the entire week. Our teams raised about $1,100, which we then used to purchase a variety of school supplies for area students.

Building a Strong Community from the Ground Up

A strong educational system is at the heart of a thriving community, and Verve is proud to help kids succeed in school through the Tools 4 Schools drive. In fact, Education and Community form two of Verve’s guiding 7 Cooperative Principles. It’s easy to see how the lessons kids learn in school create a foundation for commerce and goodwill to flourish in our community, and that’s one lesson Verve is happy to pay forward.
