Summer’s the Season for #RandomActsofVerve

By August 12, 2016 No Comments

Summer wouldn’t be complete without the ripe produce and fresh flowers of farmers markets or a cool scoop from the local custard shop. This July, Team Verve surprised community members at these summery spots with their “Random Acts of Verve,” paying for people’s purchases and sharing smiles.

Assembled in the spirit of “people helping people,” Random Acts of Verve visits hardworking community members and local businesses to lift spirits. Sometimes the Team pays it forward by paying for customers’ purchases, and sometimes they give gifts or words of encouragement to everyday workers.

Last month, Verve team members visited the farmers market at the Hmong Mutual Assistance Association in La Crosse and bought customers’ fresh produce and flowers.

In Fond du Lac, the crew headed to Gilles Frozen Custard and were able to pay for more than 25 people’s meals. It was a blast!

Serving Up Kindness All Year-Round

Because Community is one of our guiding 7 Cooperative Principles, Verve loves to stop by local establishments to show community members support through unique (and sometimes surprising) efforts. Performing Random Acts of Verve is just one way our team members help create a strong community built on kindness.
