Verve was proud to help build funds—and a house—for Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac.

On August 6, Verve joined gloves with Habitat for Humanity of Fond du Lac at its most recent build site, lending a helping hand and presenting a donation. Built from the ground up by volunteers, the new home at 596 South Main Street is the 26th that the organization will present to a local family in need. Ten Verve team members were proud to prep the home for dedication and, at the end of a full day’s work, present an oversized check to an organization with no small impact on the community.

Verve’s donation went toward Habitat for Humanity’s Hard Hats & Heels fundraiser, which took place at South Hills Golf & Country Club on September 17. The Verve crew had a great time getting to know other Habitat for Humanity supporters and taking part in an exciting evening of auctions—all funds going toward next year’s build.

The work of Habitat for Humanity is community building at its finest—literally! When volunteers work together to create something, they build more than just a house—they foster caring, supportive relationships. With “concern for community” one of Verve’s seven guiding principles, we were happy to support this organization so it can continue laying the foundation for our communities to grow stronger together.
