Streaming [LIVE] at the Leach Concert

We all love the good ol’ rock songs like Dr. Feel Good, Crazy Train and Sweet Emotion, but you know what’s even better? Watching a live performance of the songs by a three-member band made up of teenagers! Awesome! Zakk, Chloe and Parker-Jon came together and created Bad Habitz – an 80s-inspired rock & roll cover band. These rockers put on an outstanding performance that anyone would love to see. Zakk is 15 years old and handles the lead vocals as well as guitar. Chloe, 12, plays the drums and is pure spunk and attitude. Lastly, playing a mean bass is Parker-Jon. He is only 15 years old yet plays like a seasoned rock star. These three are bound to put on an awesome show that will rock your socks off!

Don’t get so caught up with rocking that you forget about the other awesome group that will be there. Party.0! Who are they, you ask? Party.0 is a UW Oshkosh student-run organization that hosts huge parties without alcohol. Yes, we didn’t stutter – WITHOUT alcohol. The group’s goal is to provide an atmosphere where people can hang out, have fun and meet new people – all without using any substances. This is from the awesome brains of Jake White and his roommate Steven Vanevenhoven, both students from UWO. Their events are getting so popular that they are attracting 150+ people at each event. Woah! They need your help purchasing an off-campus house to hold events. This will allow them to plan bigger and better parties to show students that you can have an amazing social experience without the influence of drugs or alcohol.

As you already know, CitizensFirst loves helping out in the community. We operate under the seven cooperative principals and #7 is “Concern for Community.” This is why we choose to be a sponsor for the Tuesday night Leach events and help out Party.0. These events allow members of our community to come together, let loose and have a good time. Be sure to look for our cuBe truck parked between the concession stand and the stage. Stop by to register to win Bad Habitz gear and talk to Jake from Party.0 to find out about where their next event will be. Until then, rock on and party responsibly!
